under eaves shower door!
Apologies for the delay in updating our blog; we've been quite busy lately! We recently tackled a challenging project involving semi-frame bespoke showers, which really put our skills to the test. The task was to install a bespoke shower door in a vintage property with charming but uneven walls and floors. The space presented difficulties in fitting a frameless door, requiring over 30mm of adjustment.
We had to chamfer the door to accommodate the shower seal strip at the base and ensure clearance over the threshold. This adjustment also aligned the door with the shower door magnets, crucial for achieving a watertight seal. Additionally, a closing profile was applied to the wall to allow for further adjustment, ensuring both the door and panel were perfectly level. It was a demanding project, but our patient and understanding customer appreciated the effort involved. While the end result may appear straightforward in photos, the intricacies of bespoke shower door manufacturing made it a true test of skill and patience.
